Characteristics of the event :

It is an official tournament (10 km & half) running close to the city center, held in outstandingly accessible, secure and beautiful “National Showa Memorial Park”.
An orbital course in vast and rich trees, counterclockwise around 5 km / 7 km maximum height difference. It is a great competition to challenge your physical strength and time at the qualification hall of Hakone Ekiden!
Former world athletes ‘Nishida Ryuui’ and “Yoshizawa Eiichi” will do a free one-point lesson!

The 95rd “3.11 earthquake Reconstruction Assistance” The Imperial Marathon Tournament

Overview :

We will have 8 years from the disaster in about 2 months, but everyone in the disaster area is doing our best for reconstruction every day.
We will prepare items from Fukushima prefecture as a reconstruction support measure at this event.
Past competitions were donated to the Fukushima Prefecture Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters for the participation prize equivalent but in view of the elimination and relaxation of regulations concerning Fukushima food in each country we would like to make the same efforts as the Iwate Miyagi Games I will.
