Kyoto Marathon 2019 ( February 17, 2019 )

The Kyoto marathon is one of Japan’s leading citizen participation marathon with about 16,000 runners, more than 15,000 staff volunteers, and 500,000 spectators.
Events are full marathon and pair Ekiden (27.6 km District 1, 14.6 km 2 Area).
Heijin Jingumae is started at the finish one way course, starting at Nishikyo pole general athletic park.
The course is full of sights that are unique to the international tourist city · Kyoto.
While running over Arashiyama / Togetsu Bridge, run along Katsuragawa, then pass through Sagano · Hirosawa pond.

You can run while touching nature and history, such as “Kinukake Road” that flourished as a scenic spot from the time of Heian, Kyoto Prefectural Botanical Garden, Kyoto Symbol Kamogawa and lush green Kyoto gyoen.

Kyoto marathon is the real pleasure of seeing all of Gozan(Torii shape, left capital letters, ship form, fancy form, capital letters).

UP / DOWN in the first half of the course, Upward slope of Imadegawa Street near 38 km in the end of the course is a caution point, but a lot of encouragement sent from the roadside will boost you.

The 10th Iwaki Sunshine Marathon ( February 10, 2019 )

It is said that “Hawaii in Japan”, a marathon tournament held in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, also known as the movie “Hula Girl”.
Events are full marathon, 10 km, 5 km, elementary school student 2 km, parent and child 2 km.
The full marathon starts the Iwaki track and field stadium, runs through the Kashima highway and goes by the sea and the first turn of the portrait of Jiangyin is on the east side.
Running while looking at the Pacific Ocean on the left hand side, after the Onahama Port, the Nissan Iwaki Plant is the second turn of the West.
Onahama Port Aquamarine Park will be the goal.
There are 3 big ups and downs just after start and 7 kilos past points and just before the goal.
However, along the beach is a flat course and Aido station also offers local special products such as hot sports drinks, tomatoes, strawberries and blueberries.
After the goal, Iwaki’s local cuisine “San Paw Pot Shimbure Juice” is performed, as well as hot spring discount tickets and blessing of laying on finishers, you can receive Ikeaki-like hospitality.
