Overview :
Yodogawa Kanpei Marathon is a charity marathon contest that was launched in 2013 as a founder of comedian Hazama Kanpei.
100 yen per participation fee will be donated to the support of the East Japan great earthquake, Kumamoto earthquake disaster area and Yodogawa’s environmental preservation, this time from the Osaka North Earthquake, Nishinippon heavy rain support disaster area support.
The event has a full 10 km, family 3 km, about 6 km to the Ekiden which connects in 6 sections, and Kanpei Walk 12 km of the day before the event which was popular last year.
The stage of the tournament is Yodogawa ‘s “Mother River” Osaka. It is an area of relaxation with the blessings of rich nature and water while in the big city.
The main venue that will be the start and goal of various competitions is Yodogawa River Park, the course is the riverbed of Yodogawa. It is easy to finish even runners who are not experienced such as full first challenge with fewer up and down.
Also, “Yoshimoto Geisha and Let’s Run” is the slogan of the tournament, and about 200 comedian belonging to Yoshimoto will participate in various competitions.
It is a tournament full of fun of songs, dances, runs, walks + α for laughter, such as cheering on the roadside and exciting the tournament at the main venue stage.
