Description:

This marathon race runs along Iwana Azuma which is representative of Sakura’s nature with Iwana Athletic Park as the departure point.
On the course you will find a cherry blossom row that makes you realize the arrival of spring, a Dutch windmill rich in exoticism, idyllic countryscape, old-fashioned townscape and a lovely view.
It is also attractive that the Olympic gold medalist – Naoko Takahashi players and Yuko Arimori can run “gold medal jogging road” which practiced.

The 39th Tateyama Wakashio marathon contest ( January 27, 2019 )

Description:

This tournament is already sold out.
The next entry is supposed to start around September 2019.

Tournament running in the western end of Boso Peninsula, blessed with the sea scenery.

Events are full marathon and 10 km, family 2 km.

The main venue where the citizen playground facing Tateyama Bay is the starting point of the full marathon.
The first half runs along the sea along the blooming plains of Tsubaki and Nanohana, with Nagisa line and Boso total flower line.

This is a difficult course, as it will be 20 kilometers away from the seaside and big ups and downs will continue.

When you see the sea again, you are goal with receiving the smiles and cheers of volunteers and citizens.

The time limit is 6 hours.
Pacemakers are arranged according to the goal every 15 minutes from 3 hours to 6 hours.

There is a chronological awards every 10 years old, leading to your motivation up.
Aid is installed in 8 places.
We prepare special cream bread and drinks, bananas, etc., of popular long-established bakery shops that are popular in the year.
There is also free distribution of pig soup after the goal.
On the day before the competition, the eve of the evening where gorgeous prizes such as travel tickets are honored is held, and a marathon clinic by Mr. Tetsuhiko Kim is also held.

The 29th South Boso Flower March ( February 16, 17 in 2019 )

Overview :

“Minami Boso Flower March” will be held as a festival of everyone’s sports aiming to create a healthy body and mind while familiarizing themselves with nature in this southern Boso, scented with comfortable spring breeze and sea breeze.

This tournament will be held as the Japan Marching League Official Games, the International Citizen Sports Federation – Japan Citizens Sports Federation Convention, the Kanto Koshinetsu Marching League Official Games and the All Japan Walking Cup Chiba Prefecture Certification Competition.

In addition, it is the only sister tournament in Belgium / Japan with Blankenburg tournamachi.

The 4th Kashiwanoha spring marathon with caterpillar ( March 23rd 2019 )
