This tournament is already sold out.
The next entry is supposed to start around October 2019.
It is a marathon tournament that goes around the central part of Ibaraki prefecture, Hitachinaka city and Tokai village.
The number of participants is 15000 for the full marathon and 10,000 for the 10 km with a big race on the scale of 10,000 people.
The main venue, Ishikawa Movement Square is 10 minutes on foot from the nearest Katsuta station and good access.
The full marathon course starts a shopping area adjacent to the main venue, runs through the urban area of Katsuta and runs in the suburbs.
It runs to the center of Tokai village and returns to the Ishikawa movement Hiroba.
It is a course that goes around Hitachinaka-shi and Tokai-mura.
There is about 25 m up / down at 15 km before the goal, but it is a nearly flat course.
If you can stop the sea breeze from the Pacific Ocean, which may blow in the opening stages after starting, there is a possibility of renewing your self record.
There are 8 water supply stations and 6 sponge tables on the course, as well as many private aids by local residents.
Participation prize is a nutritious Ibaraki specialty snack “dried pot” and a convention memorial T-shirt which was called “finish”.
The original measurement chip can be brought back as a memorable item.
