Spring Matsumoto running festival 2019 in Shinshu Sky Park ( March 16, 2019 )

Dscription :

Road race running in “Shinshuu Sky Park” surrounding Shinju Matsumoto Airport, which is the highest in Japan.

The competition has half marathon, 10 km, 2 km. The time limit is comparatively slow, half marathon 3 hours, 10 km 90 minutes, 2 km 20 minutes so even a beginner may be able to finish the race.

All athletics are the start and goal spots of the track and field stadium which is the main venue.
Around 10 km around the airport is 1 lap, half marathon is 2 laps, a course that runs almost without ups and downs.

In fine weather you can see the Northern Alps where snow is piled up and depending on the time you can see the airplane leaving and departing from the airport soon.

Measure with all event tags, issue certificate.
Participation awards will also be presented to all runners.

After the goal there is also a wonderful service of hot broth and rice balls.

For participants from outside Nagano Prefecture, free admission tickets for tourism culture facilities in Matsumoto City (12 facilities including Matsumoto Castle) will be presented.
