The 5th Ishigaki-jima Ultramarathon ( May 12, 2019 )

Dscription :

The southernmost Ultramarathon in Japan.
A midsummer tournament where the past 4 times are fine and the temperature rises to 30 degrees.
Aid is also set for every 4 km to 5 km, and at Aid, we prepare food unique to Ishigaki.
Of course, plenty of ice is prepared. Last year I prepared 1200 kg even for ice alone.
Goal and make a shower, it is a festival after fun.

The 17th Ishigakijima Marathon ( January 27, 2019 )

Overview :

Full marathon event in the southernmost tip of Japan.

Besides the full marathon, there are 24 km and 10 km, which is a tournament that is easy for veterans to beginners to participate in.

Ishigaki-jima Central Athletic Park starts, full is one way course of the goal.
The early stage is the coastline that wishes Taketomi-jima Island far away, the middle is the landscape of Yaeyama such as sugar cane field and pine field, Ishigaki beef ranch, the end is Ishigaki city area while enjoying the cheers of the islanders and you can enjoy a varied landscape.

The 4th Ishigaki iland relay marathon festival 42.195km relay marathon of south island & festival of Shima music ( December 15, 2018 )

Overview :

The Ishigakijima relay marathon consists of two or more and ten members within a team,
It is a marathon tournament that will complete a team with a task of relaying a course of 1km around Tasuki with 40 laps and 195 m.

Regardless of age and sex and physical ability, you can taste the sense of accomplishment by running with everyone, there are features not found in marathon competitions.
It is good to challenge the record.
There is also a solidarity feeling by running with family, running with people in the workplace, and running in teams.
The sense of accomplishment towards a big goal is to say that at least the distance each person runs runs at a distance of 42 km for everyone.
