Overview :

In the blooming of cherry blossoms, the earliest Japanese “Kanhi-zakura” and the camellia “Kume-beni” unique to Kumejima begin to bloom, the season of emerald green and the mountains of green are shining.

The 5th Ishigaki-jima Ultramarathon ( May 12, 2019 )

Dscription :

The southernmost Ultramarathon in Japan.
A midsummer tournament where the past 4 times are fine and the temperature rises to 30 degrees.
Aid is also set for every 4 km to 5 km, and at Aid, we prepare food unique to Ishigaki.
Of course, plenty of ice is prepared. Last year I prepared 1200 kg even for ice alone.
Goal and make a shower, it is a festival after fun.

Ishigaki beef ‘s barbecue on Shima live, Okinawa prefecture’ s soul food lunch box full of volumes. To beer, island sake (awamori), masanpin tea, all of which tastes into a dry body after the marathon. Eat, drink, sing, dance and let’s have fun!

The 27th 2019 Okinawa Marathon ( February 17, 2019 )

Overview :

A marathon tournament held around Okinawa City, Okinawa Prefecture’s second largest city. In addition to full of official courses there is a 10km road race.
Full is the Okinawa Prefectural General Sports Park of this venue, the start, the finish point. It is possible to glance at Katsuren Castle ruins of world heritage over 10 km and run through the US military Kadena base from 29 km to around 32 km. Palm trees line up along the course, and there are also many ocean view points. You can enjoy the charm of Tropical Okinawa. Up to 10 km there will be a flat road, but up and down will continue from the latter half of 26 km, so keeping the first half is the point to finish.
The famous “Ajimome” boasts the taste of 9 municipalities in central Okinawa. Eisa and rock, high tactic road full of energy, rich individual roadside support is also uninterrupted. After the race there is also a free massage and gourmet festa “Chuu Puu Quatti Festa” and more. In addition, daycare facilities are also equipped at the venue, runners with children can run safely.
